One of my biggest pet peeves is how the digital age has all but eliminated face to face contact. Some people are perfectly happy communicating 100% via text or email, and there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s what works for them. I personally like to have a face to face meeting with my ladies before their shoot. It’s a great way to get a feel for each other’s personalities! How awkward would it feel to be scantily dressed and trying to get your sexy face on in front of someone you’ve never met? A short fun little coffee date is the perfect way to get the first meeting out of the way so when you come in for your shoot, we already know each other and we can get right into the groove!

During our coffee date, we can discuss anything and everything you want. We go over all the important little details for your shoot such as makeup, wardrobe, time, date, etc. We’ll also talk about what type of look you’re going for. Are you going for the more glam look with darker smoky eyes or a naturally-lit demure look? Which location? Having all the small things ironed out will make for an awesome, stress-free experience for you!

The day of your shoot, whether it’s in studio, or on location, we’ll go over a few poses and lighting options, and get right to work! Remember, this is FUN! The last thing you need to do is stress out or be nervous! I use every bit of my creative ability and technical knowledge to make sure the angles and lighting and just right for you. I make sure every image you see is the most flattering and shows off the parts you like!

We also will go over your wardrobe and pick pieces that will work best for our time together. Some options for wardrobe can be found here.

After your shoot, you’ll have about an hour or so to go grab a bite to eat or run an errand while I go through the frames we shot and pick out the very best ones for you to proof. The number of proofs depends on how many collections you book. This is when you will pick out your favorites for me to edit. At this time, we can also go over which prints and/or products you may want to purchase! The options are endless! Are you looking for a fabulous piece of art for your wall? A beautifully framed desktop print for that someone special in your life?

After you pick out your favorites for editing, it usually takes about 7-10 business days before we meet for your viewing session. On the day of your shoot, we set up a time for you to come back when your edits are finished so you can pick out prints and goodies!

Depending on volume, prints typically take about 10-14 days to arrive. Albums, wraps, and specialty items take a little longer-usually 2-3 weeks, so if you’re ordering any product as a gift for someone, keep these timelines in mind when scheduling your shoot.

The final (but hopefully not last!) time we get together will be when your products arrive and you pick them up! How exciting! It’s like a little bit of Christmas each month when my ladies open their goodies!

This may seem like a ton of getting together and schlepping around, but this way we can make sure everything is perfect and all the details or anything that may come up can be taken care of. If it were me, I definitely would rather 1-on-1 personal attention rather than feeling like I was spending my hard-earned money with a photographer who runs a “turn-and-burn” business. I LOVE attention, so I’m here to make sure my ladies all get a ton of it!
